Our pool was damaged by a fallen tree early this year. We had this company remove and reinstall of the pool coping. Very efficient workers and excellent service. The owner, Jad is professional and very nice to deal with.

We had our pool renovated this summer with Canadian Poolscapes. We added stairs, lights, new liner, and landscaping. Jad was always available to discuss progress and answer questions. Our backyard looks amazing! It just took longer than we hoped, but it also rained a lot this summer.

We engaged Canadian PoolScapes to renovate our aging concrete pool and replace the surrounding concrete slab deck. The scope of the project was significant. The pool surface was sandblasted and a new marbelite surface was applied. The existing water level tiles and coping were removed and replaced. The old concrete slab pool deck was demolished and replaced with a new interlock slab surface. We were initially concerned about choosing a lesser known, smaller pool renovation company. However, our trust proved to be well placed as we are very happy with the end result. Jad oversaw the project from day one to completion. It was clear that he cared that the job was done correctly. We have a rather large, irregularly shaped pool and he was great at advising us what could and could not be used during the material selection phase. We had to course correct a couple of times. The project involved detailed work, especially the coping around the irregular shape. The work teams that Jad brought in all did their jobs well and we appreciated that Jad made sure the finishing touches were completed to his high standard. He addressed every concern we had through the process. In terms of points for improvement, the project took longer to complete than anticipated. Weather played a role, but we also thought that scheduling of the various work teams may have contributed. There were also some surprises along the way, like needing to have our pool refilled within 24 hours of the new surface being applied to validate the warranty. More advanced notice would have been preferred. In conclusion, we are overall very pleased with the work done by Canadian PoolScapes. Jad clearly cares about doing the best job possible. You can feel confident engaging Canadian PoolScapes to manage your pool renovation project.

We do not commonly leave reviews but we felt we needed to warn anyone dealing with this company and Jad. We spoke with Jad in March 2024 several times and he said he was able to open our pool. The company closed the pool for the previous owners so we wanted to proceed with them. Initially he quoted us $400 for pool opening in March, then in April he says it's $450 due to location. He also quoted $450 for pool school in March, and in April he says they charge $600 will give a discount for $500. We ask about price discrepancy, and he says 'inflation'. In any case we agreed to the jacked up pricing as the company knows the pool and Jad said he would personally come to open our pool. We wanted to book the date for after May long weekend and Jad promises it won't be a problem, to just text him 10 days prior. We text him, no reply. We were out of the country so we end up emailing as well. NO REPLY. We end up calling him last week and he says he will come in a week. It's been a week now and absolutely no answer with multiple texts and calls. So now we are at the end of May with no booking for pool opening this year. If you want a shady experience, false promises and random jacked up pricing, that was our experience with this company.
----------------
We are updating this review as Jad said he lost his phone, he ended up coming and opening the pool but I would say it was very difficult to arrange and took us several months of back and forth to ensure he would come. There is still a lot of debris in the pool that wasn't cleaned, I don't know if that is the usual as we are first time pool owners but it won't be ready to swim without extensive cleaning and vacuuming. Also the changing price we did not appreciate, would just want one price up front so we feel we're not being priced gouged.
